Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Al-Tirmidhi)
Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) said: “He is not a believer who eats his fill whilst his neighbour beside him goes hungry” (Bukhari).
The third pillar of Islam teaches Muslims to be charitable and provide for the needy. It is the duty of the Muslim community to fulfill their charitable duty correctly.
